Committee Minutes, Wednesday, January 22nd 2003

Senator Lock Whiteside submitted the following report on Wednesday, January 29th 2003, on behalf of the University Affairs Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, January 22nd 2003 recommendations:

Attendance:

There were three (3) Members (Carty, Matthews, Whiteside) present.

There were three (3) Members (Alexander, Hoffmann, Ozbolt) absent.

A quorum was not present.

The following officials were also present: Cox, Dewees, Fabricius, Horne, Moody, Stephenson

Meeting Minutes:

6:14- Discussed Transportation concerns for next meeting.

6:15- Entertained new business: Considering Transportation Concerns (see below)

6:16- Traffic Congestion on Dan Allen

6:17- Paylots & Parking Deck

6:19- Proposed new lights on parking decks to inform drivers that the lots are full. Enforcement hours.

6:23- Transpotation Policies for next year. Board of Trustees report be submitted to the committee.

6:26- Transportation to be provided for all home basketball & football games.
Bus only lane
Alumni could drive to campus and ride buses to the games.

6:31- Discussed University Dining issues.

6:33- Collected final concerns about trasportation

6:37- Meeting Closed
