GOVERNMENT BILL 89
Administrator Scott Stephenson submitted the following report regarding Government Bill 89, "AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A POLICY DISCOURAGING THE SCALPING OF STUDENT VOUCHERS AND TICKETS ", on Monday, February 23rd 2004, on behalf of the Campus Community Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, February 18th 2004 recommendations, by general consent:
As provided by Senate Rule 14(b), the committee requests that the Senate President place Government Bill 89 on the calendar for second reading.
There were six (6) Members (Carroll, Horne, Hubbs, Langley, Salama, Stephenson) present.
There were four (4) Members (Boyd, Choe, Efe, Katherine Jones) absent.
A quorum was present.
The following official was also present: Fabricius
Campus Police and Student Conduct would enforce this policy. Should the punishment be increased?
Line 23 amended as follows: “one semester” struck and “six months”.
Line 27 amended as follows: strike “academic” and add “calendar.” Senators Carrol and Salama added as secondary sponsors.
