Chairman Jeremy Spencer submitted the following report on Sunday, January 25th 2004, on behalf of the Government Operations Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, January 21st 2004 recommendations:

Attendance:

There were four (4) Members (Giaquinto, Matthews, Ortega, Spencer) present.

There were two (2) Members (Lewis, Warden) absent.

A quorum was present.

The following officials were also present: Carroll, Humphrey

Report Overview:

The Committee held Section F (absence) hearings.

Background Information:

Section F hearings are held at 8 halfabsences, then again at multiples of 4. The committee uses its judgement to determine what course of action needs to be taken.

Actions Taken:

Senators Humphrey, Carroll, and Mallner were found to be without excessive absences.

Senators Efe and Curlee were issued reprimands by the committee.

Senators Wilder, Marsh, Rice, Brobst, and Choe were determined to need impeachments filed.
