APPROPRIATIONS BILL 156

Chairman Erin Lam submitted the following report regarding Appropriations Bill 156, "AN ACT TO ALLOCATE FUNDS TO REGISTERED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE SPRING 2004 SEMESTER", on Monday, April 12th 2004, on behalf of the Committee on Appropriations, and pursuant to its Tuesday, April 6th 2004 recommendations:

As provided by Senate Rule 14(b), the committee requests that the Senate President place Appropriations Bill 156 on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were eight (8) Members (Crouch, Hutcherson, Katherine Jones, Lam, Langley, Lester, Ortega, Summey) present.

There were two (2) Members (Curlee, Mikkelsen) absent.

A quorum was present.

The following groups did not show up for their interview and thus did not receive funding:

Modern Dance Club
African Student Union
Campus Greens
Wolf GO Club


The Society Of Afrikan American Culture (SAAC) did not file the request properly and before the deadline, so they did not receive funding.


The total amount of allocations is $36,800.
