Chairman Carla Babb submitted the following report on Wednesday, January 19th 2005, on behalf of the Hillsborough Street Commission, and pursuant to its Wednesday, January 26th 2005 recommendations:

There were zero (0) Members present.

There were zero (0) Members absent.

A quorum was not present.

Report Overview:

The HSC has been busy with the Wave of Relief by bringing its efforts to Hillsborough Street businesses. We currently have little buckets at East Village, Bruegger’s Bagels, and Global Village, and if we receive more we plan to place them at Applebee’s and Porter’s.
In our meeting next Wednesday, we hope to discuss progress with G Patel’s lounge as well as plan a presentation for the HSC to present about the Walk of Fame we would like to see on Hillsborough Street.
The future looks bright for the HSC, as we will also get together businesses and set up a date for the next Progressive Dinner. More information is soon to come, but as you can see, we have a lot to accomplish this semester.
