Committee on the Budget Agenda for Friday, February 24th, 4:00 PM
Presiding Officer, Sen. Zach Adams

I. Introduction
II. Discussion of the Judicial Board Allocations
Paul Cousins and Jennifer Edwards
-only had 2 hearings this semester
-April 6th target date for speakers, i.e. Lee Folwer on athletes and performance enhancing drugs
-narrowed down candidates for next year, looks very promising
-trends in behavioral cases remain constant
-50/50 of those who choose administrative hearing to judicial board hearing
-wants to focus on more programming on campus with issues dealing with misconduct
-Provost wants to enhance integrity on campus and involve others such as SG and staff/faculty with an overall focus on involving students
-Justification for allocations:
-Stipends for executive asst. and Chief Justice: requires a lot of work and time, many meetings with Paul, preparing for and attending hearings( last 2-3hours), positions are very active during the summer as they still have hearings and weekly meetings
-send at least a couple of members to conferences to learn from systems of other schools
III. Preliminary Discussion of Executive Allocations
Will likely follow a budget with executive allocations similar to those proposed by Treasurer Toms.
IV. Review of the Budget Proposal
