Committee Minutes, Wednesday, October 3rd 2007
Chairman Matthew Potter submitted the following report to the Student Senate on Wednesday, October 17th 2007, on behalf of the Campus Community Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, October 3rd 2007 recommendations:
There were ten (10) members (J. Davis, Dawkins, Friel, Gannon, Miller, K. Mills, Myers, M. Potter, Rose, Stewart) present.
There were no members absent.
A quorum was present.
Ram Roast-Nov. 9th
*Senior Class Council wants Campus Community to do 1 activity
**Possibly a scavenger hunt
*Joseph Davis-Subcommittee chair for Ram Roast
**Opening up the subcommittee to the entire Senate
**Zach Adams-Senior Class Pres.
Campout-for UNC basketball game tickets
*At the NC State Fairground
**In the cement area, where the flea market is…figure out about flea market opening.
**Party stuff in the grand stand
**$500 per day or 10% gross ticket sales
*Bands, acapella groups, NCSU band
*Lighting a giant Ram on fire!-Engineering class build it, guarantee them tickets
*Talk to fire marshals about regulations
*Self expression stuff-build monuments and compete with other groups, win prize
*Pig Pickin’
*Get players, Mr. and Mrs. Wuf, etc. to come
*Have student organizations help sponsor the event and get to set up info. Table
*Get up with the fairground people
*Pricing for facilities
*Provide Transportation-Red Terror, Vet school bus, etc.
*Talk to fire marshals

Football Stuff
*Keep online system, but print off voucher instead of ticket, then go to the ticket office with your friend’s/whoever’s vouchers and you can get tickets. All of this is at Reynolds.
*Current problems-Student Wolf Pack club “line”…non-member students trying to sit in the Student Wolf Pack Club section.
