GOVERNMENT BILL 96

Chairman Kelli Rogers submitted the following report regarding Government Bill 96, "A BILL TO BE ENTILED AN ACT TO ESTABLISH NEEDED STUDENT BODY STATUTE LANGAUGE IN REGARDS TO AUTOMATIC VETO OVERIDE ", to the Student Senate on Wednesday, March 19th 2008, on behalf of the Government Operations Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, March 19th 2008 recommendations:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Government Bill 96, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were four (4) members (Burrell, Cioffi, Gannon, Rogers) present.

There was one (1) member (Phelps) absent.

A quorum was present.

Debate:

- it shouldn't matter who is in office doing this will promote more communication between the executive and senate.
