SENATE RESOLUTION 68

Chairman Phillip Roscoe submitted the following report regarding Senate Resolution 68, "An Act to Confirm Michael Lloyd as UNCASG Delegate (Legislative Branch)", to the Student Senate on Thursday, January 24th 2008, on behalf of the Committee on Appointments, and pursuant to its Tuesday, January 22nd 2008 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Senate Resolution 68, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were eight (8) members (Alston, P. Barnes, Howard, Parnell, Poteat, Rogers, Roscoe, Rose) present.

There was one (1) member (Cioffi) absent.

The following official was also present: Weeks.

A quorum was present.

Recommendations:

The committee recommends that the bill be placed on the consent agenda
