RESOLUTION 40

Chairman Scott Lassiter submitted the following report regarding Resolution 40, "A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO ISSUE FORMAL RECOMMENDATIONS PERTAINING TO THE 2008-2009 FEE INCREASE PROPOSALS ", to the Student Senate on Friday, September 28th 2007, on behalf of the Tuition and Fees Committee, and pursuant to its Thursday, September 27th 2007 recommendations, by general consent:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Resolution 40, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were five (5) members (P. Barnes, Hook, Lassiter, Lumpkin, Waldrup) present.

There was one (1) member (Lal) absent.

The following officials were also present: Schweitzer, Webb.

A quorum was present.
