Chairman Elmo Thomas Lamm, Jr submitted the following report to the Student Senate on Thursday, February 26th 2009, on behalf of the Finance Committee, and pursuant to its Thursday, February 26th 2009 recommendations:

Attendance:

There were six (6) members (Bower, Chase, Cosolito, Hager, Lamm, J. Stewart) present. There was also one (1) non-voting member (Jason D. Smith) present.

There was one (1) member (Friel) absent.

The following official was also present: Rogers.

A quorum was present.

Report Overview:

The 2009-2010 budget was further discussed and a final vote was taken at approximately 8:45 p.m. and the budget was passed unanimously.

Recommendations:

It is the recommendations of the Finance Committee that the proposed budget be placed in statute.

Actions Taken:

The budget will be up for first reading in the next senate session.
