RESOLUTION 40

Senator Lauren Demanovich submitted the following report regarding Resolution 40, "A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO SHOW STUDENT GOVERNMENT’S APPRECIATION FOR FARMERS", to the Student Senate on Friday, October 1st 2010, on behalf of the University Affairs Committee, and pursuant to its Wednesday, September 29th 2010 recommendations:

As provided by Senate Rule, the committee requests that the Senate President place Resolution 40, on the calendar for second reading.

Attendance:

There were five (5) members (Clark, Demanovich, Gatlin, Krystek, Taylor) present.

There were two (2) members (Verceles-Zara, Yopp) absent.

The following officials were also present: Gromlich, Selzer, Jonathon Smith, Thompson.

A quorum was present.

Debate:

Senator Jonathan Smith came to the meeting and spoke in favor of the bill.

Recommendations:

The committee voted to send the bill to senate favorably (by consent).
