Summary:

 

Meeting opened at 6:02 PM.

 

LGBT Information Session will be held on October 15th, possibly at 5:30. The room is TBD. More information will be forthcoming.

 

Pack Unity will be collaborating with SDAC to host the Old School Field Day on October 21st at 3:00 on Lee Field. Publicity about the event will be coming out soon.

 

The NCSU Diversity Meeting will take place on October 22, 2007 at 6:00. The groups that are invited are SG Diversity Commission, SDAC, UAB Diversity Committee, Greek Life, AASAC, CHASS MAS, IRC, Multicultural Student Affairs, University Diversity Advisory Council, African American Cultural Center, Women’s Center, Office of International Affairs, Office fore Equal Opportunity, LGBT, and CSLEPS.

 

The Predominantly White Institution versus Historically Black Colleges and Universities Debate (PWI vs. HBCU) is still up in the air pertaining to Diversity Commission co-sponsorship. Adam Cloninger will talk will the Kappa Alpha Psi representative, Charles Craig, to figure out an exact plan for the debate on October 4, 2007 at 8:11 PM.

 

Meeting adjourned at 7:01 PM.

 

Future Tasks:

4      Find a room for the NCSU Diversity Meeting. (Witherspoon, Talley (Walnut Room), HVC)

4      Find a room for the LGBT Information Session. (Witherspoon, Talley). Get Publicity Committee to help.

4      Solidify plans on whether or not co-sponsor the PWI vs. HBCU debate.
