Student Leadership Scholarship Endowment

In recognition of the retirement of Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Thomas H. Stafford, Jr., and his 41 years of service to the University, the Wolfpack Student Initiative is being renamed and refocused. The Wolfpack Student Initiative was created by Student Government through the leadership of Student Body President Harold Pettigrew in 2001 as an endowment to award one or more NC State students a scholarship based on demonstrated financial need.

Refocusing will allow NC State to honor one or more students with an annual scholarship based on demonstrated financial need and their leadership in a registered student organization. Dr. Stafford has built a lasting legacy on the philosophy of "Students First," and will truly be missed. This is fantastic opportunity to show how many care about Dr. Stafford and support student leaders as they improve themselves both inside and outside the classroom.
