WSI hosts its final Texas Hold 'Em tournament of the semester. Rules remain the same as always. First place takes away $50 in Best Buy money, and if we have a good turnout, second place will get $25 to Best Buy. |

WSI will have its first Charity Banquet at the NC State McKimmon Center in Raleigh.
This is a way for us to say "thank you" to many of the people who have supported us thus far,
and to celebrate the awarding of our first scholarship.
Price is $50 per plate, and dress is formal.
We plan to have three speakers at the event to address the assembly,
and we will publicize more information pertaining to this once we receive final confirmation from them.

Sadly, we have been forced to cancel our Texas Hold 'Em tournament, since we received notification that the state considers it a form of gambling. We are looking for a solution and will post any news to this site. |

WSI sponsors Texas Hold 'Em at The Farmhouse Pizza & Plates on Hillsborough.
This is our second this month, and we're trying to make these tournaments more common if we can generate enough interest.
Prizes are Best Buy $50, Best Buy $25, and a t-shirt from us. See our poker page for house rules and a list of blinds. |

The Farmhouse is a red building at the corner of Hillsborough and Dixie Trail (in front of University Towers). There is limited parking just behind the restaurant. Once this fills up, we encourage you to park in the Dan Allen Parking Deck. Please do not park anywhere that threatens towing, since we have heard they will do so. |

WSI is holding a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament at The Farmhouse Pizza and Plates on Hillsborough Street.
First place wins a $50 gift certificate to Best Buy, second place gets $20 to Best Buy, and third place receives one of our t-shirts.
Some food will also be provided free to entrants, and everyone is welcome to order dinner while they are at the event. We hope to make this a monthly event, so contact us with your suggestions or questions. |
